Facilities and Auxiliaries

i. State and local laws govern the use of land in an efficient and ethical way, preventing land-use conflicts. BYU–Hawaii must comply with laws regulating planning, building, and zoning. As a property owner and landlord, the university is also subject to certain laws related to housing and the landlord-tenant relationship.
